Hmmm I wonder why the xterra was giving you problems? Perhaps it was the HUGE rocks you were driving over! lol I'm in the same boat more or less. My trans am became a huge money pit, so I decided to let it sit as a track car and get a fun dd.

Is there a post with gold wheels? I like the look on the older Subies with gold wheels but I'm not sure if it translates to the new body styles

So I installed my new headunit (Pioneer AVH-P440) and ran the XM wires down and under the center console/shifter area to the passenger seat. While I was in there I decided to look at the shifter because when I was reading about short throw shifters from the factory they are supposed to be gold in color??? Well mine isn't, should it be? It sure feels like a STS(which I ordered) but this is my first manual vehicle.
