New STI Owner Here!

Hello all!

I just bought my first Subaru, first new vehicle, first vehicle under 100,000 miles on the ODO, first vehicle with all-wheel drive, first vehicle with forced induction, first vehicle with over 200 hp, first vehicle with a 6-speed, and a few more firsts as well. It's a 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI 5-door in Satin White Pearl!

I'm in the Rocky Mountain area and I bought the vehicle from Grand Junction Subaru in Grand Junction, CO (a great dealership) over the phone without even test driving any cars. I did plenty of research on the vehicle, and I know that I made the right choice. This car is FANTASTIC.

I have been researching future mods, and I plan on doing a 'clean rally' look. On the exterior, I would like to get a light bar with lights, aftermarket gold rims, and tint. Under the hood, I want to get a FMIC, aFe CAI, a catback exhaust, and a tune. This all will take a long time to accomplish for fiancial reasons, but I will have periodic updates on the transformation. I plan on participating in rally-X's, winter-X's, auto-X's, meets and track days. This car is going to get used like it should be.

Awesome car and welcome. I have a 12 STi as well and I am really in love with my car. I get up every morning for work and I am excited about the drive. It's just a great driving experience. Wait until your first snow. I am from upstate New York and when that snow comes and your passing trucks stuck on the side of the road.... yeah that's awesome.
