ID:	105475Hey all. My name is Jon and after about a 5 year hiatus, I am back in a WRX. I have had an '02 WRX and an '05 STI in the past. Just traded in my gas guzzlin' Avalanche for a new Dark Grey WRX Limited and I am very happy with my decision! Recently tinted out my windows to 5%. Working on a new sound system and open to suggestions. I am also looking to do a trunk lid swap for an STI spoiler. Other plans include the basics: Cold air intake, BOV, Exhaust, Cobb AP and maybe some small exterior tweaks.

Nice ride you'll love the new car. I have a 2011 and it is a big step forward from the 02 I had.

Wow, 5%? Can you even see out of those? Guess at least it's nice where you live all year around so you can put down the windows at nite when there aren't any lights on.

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

Welcome.. Yea the BOV is a very touchy subject. I personally like the sound, most other people in this community will call you a ricer and hope you blow up your car. I cannot speak from experience, but I hear if you just upgrade the intake that you will hear a pleasant sound. try that first and if you are not pleased go to a 50/50 bypass valve.

Oh. And for the 5% comment, I have 5% in all my rear windows of my Fit. I love them because it cuts out so much light from cars behind me.
