    New Subaru "nut"

    Hello,

I just purchased my first Subbie and a WRX wagon at that... Used 2006 with 84K very well cared miles on it... And since it is broken in I am planning to start modding although slowly, but I am starting.
According to your preferences, what would the first "easy on the wallet" mods will be? I am thinking COBB short ram with silicone hose and the heat shield... Let me know. Good to be here again! Finally! ! !

intake, then exhaust i would say. but very important to tune these cars, even just for an intake. Stay away from the bov's, stick to the bpv's. first thing i would do is buy a COBB accessport, open her up with a stage 1 93, or 91 octane map.

An intake would be a waste of money for you right now.

Oh man!... And she actually likes it (5-speed)... I am just doing maintenance on that one though, I figured 265 is enough for my wife (for now at least)... Oh wait, she was asking me for an exhaust already, I forgot! Oh what I got myself into!

I do feel like a nut, because I am older that the average Subaru nut in here and I am trying to "play" with Cars like my Subaru wagon. We are basically all nuts...! :-)

You are older? How old do you think the average nut here is?

We have lots of 40+ year olds. I'm getting there. But to be honest, like you said, I feel a lot better now than when I was 25.
