Whats up everybody! Finally purchased my first subaru. 2002 Wrx, awsome car just as expected. I was fortunate to buy it from a private seller that only buys subaru. He recently bought a 2006 STi, so he gave his wife the 2009 wrx he was driving and decided to sell the 2002. It was taken care of very well. Car just hit 110,000 miles on my drive back from picking it up. Owner had timing belt, water pump, and clutch replaced. Shifts smoothly, really feel the turbo kick in at about 3500 rpm. It does feel a little sluggish from 1000-3000 rpm, is this just a normal result of the turbo lag? First mod will be cat-less up pipe, and then full exhaust work. Ill enjoy it stock for a little while though![]()

Thanks for the advice! i did just see a couple pictures of it being sucked into the up-pipe.. I def don't want that. Ill try to get a new up-pipe installed by next weekend. Would it be smart to just keep my car under 4000 rpm at all times until I have it installed, or can it happen under normal driving conditions?
