    And the wait begins

Just put my down payment on my 2012 WRB WRX Sedan and now I'm waiting for it to come in. It's supposed to be in at the end of the month or early next month. I do have a question though, the car coming in has side moldings on it, not something I wanted but it was pretty much free after I dealt with the salesman. Anyone know if it's possible to remove these safely if I don't like them on there?

Similar to debadging, my guess is you can just use dental floss or fish line to remove it.

    Welcome!

I installed side moldings on mine. They are installed with 3M tape.

So maybe like mentioned try the debadge method. No guarantee for the paint though. That 3M stuff is stronger than the glue used for the badges.

Absolutely. That is why I installed them.I think the moldings look quite good. Not like most side moldings. They match the lines of the car.
