I'm planning on getting a 2012 WRX next month and was curious if you can really hear the BOV or not. I saw this video and I'm really hoping the car sounds like this. I understand that the car in the video also has a Nameless Catback Exhaust, but listen to the BOV, is that stock or does this guy have more done to the car? I am planning on getting the Nameless also when the car comes in.

Skip to around 5:30 in the video to hear what I'm talking about. Thanks

Search for "the big BOV thread" that contains all BOV info. This thread may be merged there. There are thousands of questions in that thread and if you want a valve then the thread is highly recommended.

If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry. Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms, 1929
