    Finally getting my WRX!!!!

so after years of wanting a wrx, I finally have a job where I can afford it! I am getting a black 2012 premium addition sedan with a few upgrades, it is set to arrive on the 30th of this month!! I cant hardly wait....each day seems to last forever now.

I have been browsing through this site quite a bit lately and have found some very interesting information...but it all leads to the same result that doesnt really apply to me yet.

Basically I am wondering if any of you could maybe list some things I can do to my car when I get it that doesnt require a tune. I plan on putting on a clear bra and tint the windows...but i am hesitant to do anything engine wise if it requires a tune until I get to at least 8,000 miles.

I am open to any suggestions as far as engine and performance as long as it doesnt require a tune. I will also take any suggestions as far as exterior and interior look. Hope for some great feedback!! Thanks in advance!!

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

Welcome. First thing to get is a short throw shifter, but honestly I'd go with a stage 1 protune as soon as possible. I swore I would wait until my warranty was up until I went stage 2 but couldn't help it, and regret wasting an entire year without it.

well i plan on getting stage 1 eventually....but from what i have read it is not a good idea to do it right away....gotta wait a few thousand miles.....plus i wont get the exhaust and stuff done for a lil while also as i try to save up some money...

thats why i was hoping people would give me some ideas i can do without it needing a tune

You're pretty limited to aesthetics and bushings. Although if you go through and put new bushings on the car feels 100 times better if you do them all at once.
