WRX/STi owners: 4 door, or 5 door? And why?

LOVE both cars, ordered the hatch mainly for practicality, and also, for the STi wing standard on 5 door.. but IF I had to pick up the 4 door, it would be an STi or have the STi wing option on the WRX

I actually decided to go 5 Door. I think there were a few things that pushed me towards the hatch.

1.) Since the STi isn't really a business mans car with the big wing on the back I needed something a little bit more "toned down".
2.) I loved the extra space in my forester. So the hatch door and extra space make me love it even more.
3.) I honestly prefer the body style to the 4 door with this model year
4.) The dealer had the exact items I was looking for in a WRX on the show room floor. It just happened to be an STi that they gave me a ridiculous deal on.

I have the 5 Door WRX. I actually wanted the STi, but they had the price set at $38,000 without any other fees. It was the exact model that I wanted though. I went with the 5-Door WRX because my girlfriend and Dad liked it. It was either this or some MLB player's modded Evo with 20K miles for the same price as the WRX.

I actually like having a 5-door now because of the space. It looks much better than the sedans I've seen around town.

I already have a unpractical small car so I felt obligated to get a wagon for the pure need of space. Don't get me wrong, I love the look of the 2011+ hatches, the added space was just a bonus for me. If I went with the STi, I would of likely gotten the Sedan in Plasma Blue...

I ordered a hatchback. I loved having a hatchback as my last car (Toyota Matrix). The utility was amazing - I even slept in the car a few times while camping to avoid the snoring of other people... Aside from the versatility of a hatchback, I think every family only needs a truck additionally. The truck can tow stuff and dirty stuff can get in the back, and for everything else there's the hatchback (gas mileage, people carrier, fun, etc).

I got the sedan mostly cause I was indifferent to either one but the family liked the sedan much better. Not really regretting the decision.. if you really need the space in the back then get the 5-dr.. that's how i see it.

Hatch because that's what Dave Higgins drives...

    woooo rally carrrrrr!!!!!

I got the hatch mainly because I was getting out of a smaller coupe and really wanted/need the extra space that the hatch offers. It's perfect for any excursions the woman and I do with the two pups, all the extra camping/hiking gear I carry, and countless other things we do.

    and this:

I got the hatch mainly because I hate the look of Rally Armor mudflaps on sedans.

5 door for practicality. Owned sedans in the past, and figured since I plan to have this car for a long time, I wanted the most practical. ...and it's awesomer.
