Looks like an 18g or 20g maybe - I assume the downpipe coming off of the hot side (connects to the back end of the exhaust) doesn't look stock either - no heat shields or stock looking cats?

Here are some good pics - half way down the thread is the VF52 that would have been stock on your car (the new looking one that is marked IHI). There are several distinct differences you can compare better looking at your car - see the difference in the length / orientation where the wastegate actuator connects, different coupling etc. for the compressor output, flatter hotside snail without the seam etc.

    VF52 vs 18g

Am I wrong or is that a stock turbo? EDIT: Nevermind, saw the post IDing the turbo as a Mitsubishi. Makes more sense, sorry.

No heat shields. Probably couldn't fit over the new turbo when that was replaced....
What you see is what I got. And since I don't know what I got I'm here asking stupid Q's. But you know that the only strupid ones are the ones NOT asked...

See post #62 - IIRC this is nice kit and not cheap.

That would be it, I think. Now where do I get the wrench for the height adjustment, or can I use something else?

Looking at the referred post: yes, that is it. In the rear is the same turn knobs, currently I have them all in 3rd notch from softest.

FWIW, those are the 4-pot fixed-caliper brakes from the 2006-2007 WRX.

^ Yeah. This car must be documented on some forum somewhere. They weren't going it on their own and obviously researched stuff.

Yes, it's a lot of mods, but at least on the surface appears to be pretty well sorted. Nothing looks hacked together anyway.

In addition to some forum hunting, you might call any tuners in the area. One of them may have some records on the car. The game's afoot, Watson!

    Oh, and welcome, btw.

They'll be better than the stock brakes the car came with. Since you have them, I'd keep them. They'll serve you well.
