Arrow A few questions that haven't been answered yet... concerning AP

I have a 2002 WRX and have a few questions. here is what the car has so far that I've found or done to it. 90% is how I got the car...

    Kazera 17" rims
Cleaned the MAF and IAC sensors
    New air filter
    Fresh oil change
    Prosport Boost Gauge
Full bellmouth 3" Turbo back exhaust with catless DP

Just ordered a COBB AccessPORT and want some more info or clarification before I move forward...

    1. Based on Cobb's site I can just start with stage 2 map since I have the TBE and now the ecu reflash... RIGHT?
    2. Can I go with the stage 1 map instead if I wanna be conservsative or will this hurt anything?
    3. INCASE the AP does not include the smaller plug to put the ecu into loop mode, what harness does it go to under the dash? (I can make a "jumper" if need be)...

Now for a random question, What RPM do you guys normally see when cruising in 5th gear at about 60mph? I'm around 2200 or so and wasn't sure if that was normal...
    Thanks, Mike

Do you know if it had a tune of any sort from the previous owner?

Use the Stage 2 tune...if you have Stage 2 parts (downpipe), use the tune that was made for it. You will probably gain a few MPGs with this anyway.

And what are you talking about to go into "loop mode?" An AP will have the plug to go into the OBDII port and that's all you need.

I've only had STIs, so no experience with the 5spd cruising

Thanks. As far as "loop mode" it says on Cobb's site that there is a smaller connecter that puts the ECU into loop mode allowing it to be re-flashed.
I've never had one yet so I don't know, but that's what the website says...

Sent from a galaxy far, far away...
    Thanks, Mike
