Finally got my first wrx. Now what can I do to it for fun?

Hi all. Glad to join this sweet forum. I just bought a 2006 wrx tr. it's mostly stock with only a bov and turbo timer. I am just interested in what kind of mods I should consider at this point. Price is an issue but all mod ideas are welcome. I was told a turbo upgrade would be fun. A vf39 might be good. What supporting mods would I have to do?

Tune!! Or at least an OTS map for your exact mods and thorough logging.
    STi or better TMIC
DP (must have high flow cat)

Edit: Remove the BOV and Timer and sell them to pay for useful parts.

^this is the first thing I would do. After that, short shifter and bushings, then I would save up for a turboback exhaust and a stage two tune..

    1) remove BOV
    2) remove turbo timer
    3) remove taillight tint
    4) remove wheels
    5) sell BOV, turbo timer, & wheels to pay for new wheels
    6) have fun!

Yes the windshield is 50%with a 20% strip all the other windows are 20%. I like the black out look which is why I added the black out tail lights already.

The bov isn't anything good for power but without any other mods I like it and it isnt hurting anything. the turbo timer is HKS and will come in handy later on when the mods do start to come but I agree on the wheels!!! Way to thug got me. It needs tires anyway.
