    howdy, just lurkin.

figured i'd say hey. until we close on a house i can't make a move but a nice lady in a mercedes decided to kill my mustang anyways. so, i'll be poking around while i figure out if i should get a new or pick up a good used WRX (ya know, like a unicorn) for family friendly replacement.

feel free to chime in with your two cents. i'm leaning towards new based on the fact that these cars just don't seem to depreciate and i want something i'd like to keep 5-10 years that can fulfill my hubby/daddy responsibilities while feeding my gearhead addiction ever so slightly.

feedback, advice, or whatever is greatly appreciated.

I bought new after having bought a number of used cars, and don't regret doing so.

    Welcome!

If you can afford new, I'd say do it. Especially if you want something to last you a long time. It's the only way to know for sure that the car is taken care of correctly it's entire life.
