    Just bought my first Subaru and very excited about it. i have no idea what im doing here and dont know how to post a pic of my car... suggestions?

    thanks everyone! yea, i love the front end on this year... thought about buying something newer, but strictly searched for 05... that picture was across the street in the parking lot right after i bought it...

    With the additional airbox, not bad. Without it, I wouldn't run it.

    High IATs lead to pulled timing, which means a loss of power. An exposed filter element in the engine bay will soak up radiant heat from the motor.

    cool, i just read up on it... the air box makes it act like a cold air, not taking in any hot engine bay air.. plus doesnt allow rainwater to get in... thanks for the advice... whats an IAT?

    OE, unless yours is leaking, which I highly doubt it is.
