I think this is one of very few daily driven cars that can pull them off.
I don't plan to get them anytime soon but am concerned about the paint from what I've been reading.
Front end protection is at the top of my list personally.
Yeah, I'm really on the fence with em. I do drive on dirt/gravel/etc somewhat regularly to get to the places I fish, so I like the practicality. I also think that if any car can pull em off it's the Rex. But, like Lokey said, I'm not sure I like what it does to the lines of the car. The just pop out too abruptly.

Amazon.com: Powerflow 6401 Pro-Fit Splash Guards-Car. 1 pair: Automotive .... and front and rear are same...i like they way they fit aroun the sides[which is what i dont like about the RA's] and they are softer than others which i like also they bend easy and dont brak... i'm 55 and dont have much time for pics but will try...and sorry not trying to steal thread just an option for those that dont like the lines of RA's....jeff

The main reason I got the flaps was functionality. I didn't want to get million tiny paint chips on my quarter panels plus with the RA's on it will be much easier to keep the car clean.
I also think that they look pretty awesome!

I imagine you could probably trim the RA's towards the top to feather them into the wheel well. If you were so inclined to create a cleaner set of lines.

I like the practicality of them and will probably order a set at some point. Not in a huge hurry right now(what with not even having the car yet)

Urethane doesn't clean? This is news to me and thousands of others with RA flaps who clean them with nothing but water.
I love that the cleanest thing on the car is the RA's

I hope to order some soon. Want to protect that crappy paint. That and I know the PBP would show ever little mark, it'd probably mark up if a rock just flew nearby.

I think I'll have to see some in person to make my decision. They don't look as bad on your car, but I can't tell if that's cause yours are installed tighter to the body, or if it's just lighting/etc.

What is that front license plate bracket that you have? is it OEM or aftermarket? is it drilled in the bumper or does it use the japanese square bracket that is already on the bumper?

    -thanks

Just washed my car the yesterday and noticed a nice Chip out of paint and plastic... These definitely would've helped but I'm still not sold on them, personally. My cousin has same car as you 2011 with them on. I can def see their purpose. Looks good the blue matches. I see your car is new by the red paint still on your tires

Why didn't you get them directly from Rally Armor? I got mine within 2 days.
Install took about 30-40 minutes and it was pretty straight forward. Watching the installation video definitely helped.

You can find the video here: http://www.rallyarmor.com/store/sti-...aps-p-321.html

FastWRX was recommened by a local sti owner, and I didn't want to create an account with RA just to check shipping costs. No worries, though, just got the shipping confirmation. Hope I didn't pay too much for shipping.

Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure to watch the vid before and probably during install.
