Hey everyone.

Im new,

just picked up a 04 wrx. it is a hybrid build. 2.5lsti bottom with 2.0 top. sti top mount, sti susp.

been great so far other than had some bubbling on the rear quarter panel. quoted 700 - 800 to fix it up. which kinda rattled me.



i traded my 04 Porsche cayenne s with 170 000k. beautiful car. couldnt afford fuel, and engine maintenance was coming up and could afford to continue dumping money into it. so i traded plus $$$ my way obviously.

Niceeee, don't know too much about the hybrid builds yet but I do believe the heads need to be machined and whatnot to match the 2.5 output. Do you know if they are and if its a proper build, I heard they can be nightmares if not properly built.

yes it was machined out to mach. I noticed it might be leaking oil around the valve cover gasket. passenger side. comes out by that open space between the block and the turbo... im not sure what it could be. its hard to tell if its coming from the turbo or the block. hopefully gaskets will fix it.
