Just Ordered

About 2 hours ago I put in an order for a DGM Base WRX with a center armrest extension and a short throw shifter. I was out the door at $25700 and I'm pretty happy with that price. Now it becomes a waiting game.

yeah i hear a lot of my friends that drive subies say they had to wait for there to come in for like months. good stuff only getting a two week wait hope you enjoy the car

Yeah I was surprised when they told me that soon as well. I ordered it on Dec 26th. The dealer said a rough estimate of mid February, but when they finally got a VIN it showed Jan 31. Fingers crossed that there are no delays.

Be prepared to wait I ordered my 2012 swp hatch nov 19th and they said early jan and now it's scheduled for the 25th through early feb. I have learned to not be set on a certain date because more than likely things change. But good luck

Well, I can tell you that I have you all beat on the wait. I ordered my WRX Limited on August 29. Got a VON at end of September, but by November, the car had "disappeared". Just got word yesterday that the car will be in no later than January 25. Now the car will be a '12 instead of '11. Dealer was great, they have given me a brand new legacy sedan to drive at no charge for the last three months since I sold my old car planning on a late october arrival.

I suspect my wait is some kind of record, 5 months is a long time!

Got VIN on Friday. It's been a long strange journey, too weird to tell all the details here. Still not sure if SOA screwed me, or dealer. But, like i said, they gave me a brand new car to drive for three months for free, and locked me in at the 1.9 or 2.9 financing. Hopefully I will be driving it by the end of the week.

That's a rough situation but awesome you get to drive a new car in the mean time.

I'm considering trading my 11 for a 12 ice silver metallic and I hope it don't come in until spring so I can finish out the winter with my car but I'm sure the dealer wants to make it happen asap.

Jabba, I saw your other thread about your car already being in. They gave you a date of the 31st and it came in even quicker? Thats so awesome! Do you know how you pulled that off?
