    Ah, my bad. I was having a hard time following the OP's original post.

    In that case let me modify my previous statement: Assuming all paperwork is in order (including any needed in the buyer's state, if different than seller's), $20k isn't an insane asking price, considering the effort, but as others have said, most wouldn't consider RHD worth an extra $10k+ over a US bugeye, so I forsee difficulty recouping the cost invested. In that case, keep it, and enjoy it.

    JDM Doesn't make it more valuable to me. It's worth what a USDM car is worth as it serves the same purpose. Otherwise you get stuck overpaying for a car that you can't sell and make money on.

    Oh, and add the fact that the car will need to be re-tuned for use with lower-octane US pump gas.
