Long running tradition - like the Jeep owners have - that is worth keeping up with. (Especially since owner of other brands seem to be annoyed by it). Most WRX/STI owners I see wave/nod, and I do as well. It's a community thing.

    My lame attempt at sarcasm.

There are plenty of threads about this,

for example when you see wrx on the road what do you do?

    Lol

I do it all the time. Makes me happy when others do. The other day I was driving down the road and a fella in a WRB WRX about jumped out of his window waving.

There is also a beautiful gal who drives a 2011 WRB WRX who I get the thumbs up from all the time. WIN

I used to wave all the time, but every time I seemed to wave the other driver never did so I felt weird each time.

But then again how do you wave. Do you guys go all out and stick your arm out the window. Or do you guys just do the half hearted wave by lifting up your hand a little above the steer wheel?
