Hello!
My name is Luke and I've recently started lurking and decided to register. I'm from Pennsylvania so I decided instead of continuing to drive around my 1985 Toyota Celica Supra (now project car) I decided I'd buy a WRX to help out on those snowy days.) Anyway, I bought my WRX back in August, its a blue 2004 5-speed, and I love the hell out of it. Of course, I got it from a stealership and it decided to get a spun rod bearing after 2 weeks. And I was babying the piss out of the car too. (Silly me for buying it as-is, so no warranty.) No matter however, I did some searching to find my nearest Scooby specialist and found Area 1320. After talking with Ryan I decided I'd go with a 2.5 shortblock, with forged pistons, and keep the 2.0 head. Finally got it the day before Thanksgiving and I'm in love with it again.
I'll post some pictures later of the car itself (and the old engine, whoever did work to it previously did a terrible job, hence the broken engine.)
tl;dr - Hi, I'm Luke and I own a 2004 WRX. Glad to be here.![]()
