Hey everyone,
I just came into the world of Subaru's and bought myself a 2006 WRX. Its a super fun car and its quite the change from my Jeep I had before. My jeep was a monster, 5.5in RE lift with 35x12.50 wrangler MTRs, but it could barely do the speed limit. Now i find myself struggling to do the speed limit again, but from the other end of the spectrum.
I was able to get a killer deal on a 2006 wrx, but my only problem is the automatic transmission. Its not really a problem, but this is my first automatic vehicle and I'm not really used to it. I still havent decided if I want to make this into a drag car, or sell it and buy a manual.
Either way, I don't regret the purchase because it opened my eyes to a whole new world of motor sports and the WRX is an awesome car.

I'm up in South Lake Tahoe right now. Its a good place to be, we've got some awesome scenery and lots of activities if you are into mountain biking and such.

I was just going to say... That looks like Tahoe lol. I'm in the Reno, NV and love having a short drive to Tahoe. Though I wouldn't mind moving up there. Enjoy your car. Driving will be a completely different experience from your Jeep. You'll enjoy the twisty roads a lot better. It looks like we may have some snow coming in a day or two.
*edit*
Ohh... btw... I don't know if its just the resolution of the picture, but it look like your tires are balding summers. Our Subaru's have great AWD system, but they're pretty much useless if you mix summer tires with snow/ice. Start thinking of maybe picking up winter tires.

2011 WRX Limited Spark Silver (5 Door)
It has four brand new all-season Fuzion UHPs on it right now. I just had a rim destroy one of the Potenza's it had on it, and ended up replacing all four tires and rims. The tires are pretty cheap, but they don't handle too bad in the snow. I had them on for the last little snow storm which was about 3in and didn't have any problems. If it gets much deeper, I wouldn't want to be out driving anywho, because I didn't buy the WRX to be a snow plow.
Thanks for looking out though. I appreciate the concern.
