New to subaru and AWD. Little advice please

So I just purchased a 03 Wrx bone stock and of course first thing that comes to mind what kinda money can I blow on this car. I've been doing alotta research and it seems tuning is very important. But then again that's also depends on who u are talking too. I purchased a SPT intake from Subaru and I'm hearing alotta mixed feeling on " to tune or not to tune" is the delimma. It was just the first DIY project that I thought of so we can pop our cheeries together and start the bond. I'm reading alotta ppl think a tune isnt necessary and alot do. Keep in mind a turbo back exhaust w/ a high flow cat is upcoming in a couple months. But in the mean time I've really been eyeing the Cobb Tuning AccessPORT. So to get to my question will I b ok to w/o a tune just with the intake installed and after the turbo back is installed then tune. Any and all comments are welcomed. Thanks for helping this newb out.

You really should have a tune with a DP and intake. While not required on your car, it will certainly be beneficial.

Since this is your first tuner car, pay attention to the advice from people that know what they're talking about.
