Exclamation New Base WRX in San Diego

Hi new guy here, lovin the car thus far. 11 Base and so much fun to drive.
I know its just a stock WRX but here it is. I did de-badge it the 2nd day I had it.

Only options are the homelink mirror which is awesome and the STI shifter.

Some reading tells me I should still do bushings, if anyone can confirm I will be picking some up very soon.

Nice!!!!! I just got my 2011 4D last week. Did you have the rear spoiler removed? If so, how'd you do it? I like the look!

No spoiler on the base cars (I think) and I agree that it looks good that way.

Welcome to the forum.Yes,no spoiler on the base sedan.

Unless you ordered the SPT bushings with the car,you could upgrade the bushings.

Thanks Tony, I bought the car off the lot ( to get USAA pricing) so I am rather sure it has the stock non upgraded bushings.

Just to be clear I want both the bushing (dont know the names, sorry) the rear one and the 2 piece one that goes on the shifter , correct?

I had a EVO MR SE a few years ago and sold it because I hated the the clutch and shifter in the car. The EVO was quick but the WRX seems to be a much better built car, feels much nicer.

The install is not too bad. Did it to mine with 500 miles on it. Makes a world of difference!

Lakeside here close to the rodeo grounds out there. I think I'm going 30% in the back and lighter on the front of mine, haven't made up my mind obviously since my car still looks like a fish bowl lol

20% is probably enough. CHP and sheriff out here love the dark tint at least out here they do, although never have got a ticket for it but pulled over plenty on times in my wife's old car.
