    Thumbs up Newbe to Subie

Hi I'm in the market for an STI. Checked one out on Sunday. It must be pushin 400 horsies easy. 2006 STI with modified turbo and other goodies for $13,900 but the salesman told me today they can't finnance it because it has over 100,000 miles. But I haven't given up, I will be talking with my car loan company to see if they can finance it.

welcome to the club! you might want to watch out for modified subies, especially with a larger turbo upgrade. just make sure its been properly tuned.. see if you can get receipts/contact the previous owner.

good luck & let us know how it works out

over 100k? how much over? 13.9k is still too cheap for that year IMO with ton of mods.

Welcome and good luck shopping it would be worth to keep looking and find one less modded and lower miles.

Spending more for that will save a headache in the end.
