Hi guys. I signed up a while ago to lurk and read about motor options for my car which developed a spun bearing after about 57k on the clock. I'll be lurking around asking some dumb questions - I finally got the cash together to start the project. Thanks in advance. Any suggestions on the routes people have gone in reference the 2.0l repair is welcome. I'm leaning toward a 2.5l OEM short block hybrid, or a forged built motor for around $5,000 fully assembled with new heads. Let me know if you have suggestions.
