All, I am new to subies having recently purchased a 2011 wrx hatch. Car was purchased with sti sts and catback. Never have the first 500 miles gone so slowly... Reading the forum has been very instructive. Am looking forward to a downpipe + tune in the near future. But I am mechanically all thumbs. So.... looking for recommendations for tuning shops in Houston. Appreciate any pointers.
Also am going to junk the stereo and speakers. Not looking for massive rattle the windows sound. But I would appreciate nice clean sound with a little oomph. Wondering if a powered under seat sub might suffice (in addition to possible Jl audio spkrs and new head unit)?

I can't remember off the top of my head... I had mine protuned there almost four years ago. I want to say it was maybe $275ish with multiple pulls on the dyno but don't quote me on that...
