Cobb AP tune noob question

Hey guys, Im looking into getting a Cobb Accessport and have a few questions. On Cobbs website they list Accessports for each model year, but some of the ones for sale on ebay say they're good for 2008-2011s. Are they at all different for each model year? Or I guess the better question is... are the maps different? Also, why would the APs have different hp and torque gains for the 2009,2010, and 2011? Any input would be appricated.

the ap you need is a ap-sub-003
it will work for 08+ wrx/sti. after you get the ap the ots maps can be downloaded off the site for free

edit: yes the maps are different go to the site and download the appropriate maps for your year/model

gotcha thanks a lot man. anyone have any idea why Cobb would post different gains for each model year? i would think the 2009-2011 would be the same

its not like an 08 vs 11 is gonna be a ridiculous difference in gains but each year may be slightly different thus requiring a new map. i just went stage 1 on my '11 sedan. the difference is noticeable and youll surely enjoy it.

No. Once its used on a particular vehicle, its married to that computer. It would only be able to be used on your computer if they unmarry it from their computer and use it on yours from now on.
