Dealer says that I cannot order a WRX my way

Dealer said due to the aftermath of the Tsunami Subaru sends them pre configured cars and that I cannot order one to my spec.

Kind of bums me out, since buying a new car means you get what you want.

Anyone have an idea when production will be back to normal as well as when they stop making 2011s......Thanks......Steve (NOOB)

Sounds ridiculous.So the dealer will order a car the way he likes & you have to pay for it?Find another dealer.

The dealer is sitting on 3 STIs so maybe that is it but I find it odd also. The big issue is I live in Iowa so there is only 1 dealer within 150+ miles......Steve

You do not have to physically go to a dealer.Try to work something out over the phone or email.

BTW,when you order,you choose the trim and that specific trim is made by the factory.All accessories are added at port here & not in the factory.

Thank you very much....I am a very blessed/lucky guy. I am really excited to add a hot hatch to my collection, but really want to order the exact one I want.

I think the issue is that it is not possible to order a limited 5 door. you can get a Limited 4 door sti, but thats it.

Do you have any pictures of the other cars? How long have you had them and what do you think of them?

I test drove an F430 but at the end of the day I like my 911 better. I also looked at the X5M but went with a G550 instead.

I'll post some pics tomorrow along with some impressions. I love Porsche also and have owned some, just was time for an F-Car........Steve
