Looking to buy a new WRX and have a few questions.

Hi I'm new to the forum but have been checking out threads on here for about a month or so. I am looking into buying a 2011-12 5- door WRX Limited and have a few question that I hope you guys can help me answer. I checked Subaru's website and couldn't find this but was wondering if the WRX Limited came with heated signal side mirrors. Is the rear glass heated as well? Do they come with factory tint? Any help is appreciated.

They come with a very slight tint. Nothing major and I'd recommend taking it to someone who specializes in tinting. My dealership did an added tint for me for fee, but I feel it's still not dark enough.

As for the mirrors: they are indeed heated (part of the premium package).

Ya I didn't know the premium had heated mirrors either. To bad I already ordered my base model. I have always hated it in the morning when I get in my car and start driving around and then I notice my mirrors are all frosted over

Just curious...How much did you pay for the tint? My dealership wants to charge me $150 for 20% all around. Although 2 years ago I had them tint another car and they only charged me $100.

My tint cost me $200,but the going rate is $250.I got a discount because I brought him 3 cars at once.

$150 is a bargain if they are using good film & it's a good quality job.

Well that makes me feel better. The previous job they did turned out great and they used quality tint too. So I will be expecting the same quality on the new job.

Thanks for the information guys, guess I'll be adding on my own mirrors when I eventually do get the car. I guess the next question is Subaru or aftermarket? Assuming I can buy the mirrors from subaru.

I had another question. Did anyone get the Subaru subwoofer? How does it sound? I don't need a lot of base, just a little bit.

Mine definitely has heated mirrors. You can verify for yourself however at: Subaru Impreza WRX | Impreza WRX Compare Tool.

As for the sub: It's pretty good. A noticeable improvement. Not fantastic, but worth picking up in my opinion if you're looking for that extra bass.

Pretty sure the side mirrors and wipers are all heated as part of the cold weather package that comes on the premium and limited cars. Im sure you could have it put on the base model at your dealer as well.

That would not be a dealer installed option as it would require a new windshield and new mirrors.
