The overlays come oversized to ensure a good fit. If you are brave (or a tint guy) then you can DIY, but they are a pain in the ass to fit if you are a novice. The guy at my local tint shop said they were very well made

    Check out my album on my profile for pics. I would recommend the overlays over painting, because if you don't like the overlays after fitting, you can remove them without damage to the tail lights, painting is more permanent.
