Talking MY f***ing amazing 2011 WRB WRX Hatch

I FFFFIIIINNNALLLY got to pick up my new blue kicks Thursday morning.
It seems like it's taken forever. Trying to get the dealer to find what I was looking for, getting my name put on it, having them finish it up at the factory, shipping, trucking up here.... ugh, all the while my 84 Z crapped out on me. Cracked cooling housing....

But, after what was better than Christmas morning, I have my new baby.

I stole the idea for the RA-R grill mod...

Hanging on my turn signal/lights lever is a neato little voodoo doll. All black, with a little bit of red stitching, cuz it matches the rest of the interior. I love quarter machines, lol.

I know, it's the same car everyone else has, but I'm just so geeked!

    My SPT Poo Chutes

    And SPT heat shield

    I love this

    And this

It's been so nice. I've read about this STS, and I like having it, but I realized I should have gotten the bushings too.
I can't wait for the 1000 miles to be up.

Next for me is RA mudflaps and snow tires.

Not planning on anything crazy, not yet atleast.

Nowww, all I need is to figure out a name ...???

I ordered it with it. That, and the boost gauge, were installed by the dealer before they had me come to pick her up.

Is that the STS in that picture? Guess it doesn't look that short, or as short I thought it would be.

It's the short throw in there. I didn't think it was as short as I thought it would be, but I'm not swinging my hand all over to get in gear. I saw a post with the kart boy sts, and I think maybe that would've been shorter than this one.

it's not the length of the shifter that makes the difference...

The geometry of the SS is what makes it shorter than the stock shifter

I may go for the shifter, heat shield, and the exhaust at some point. I'll give it some thought at least, but about $1700 more installed for the goodies better be worth it..lol

I actually had a great deal. The manager said since it took about 2 months just to be able to lock in the car for me, all the additions I'd only have to pay invoice price of. With everything it came out to 26k before tax. I thought that sounded like an awesome deal.
And that's what I figured the sts was suppose to be. That'd be why its called short throw, instead of just short. But I've never used one before, so I didn't know what to expect. I had a feeling that down the road I'd really want it, and if I could get it put on now, cheaper that later, I better take them up on it.
