Does the Wrx have the rev light and buzzer like the Sti? if not, is there an after market option that wont void the warranty?

A comment made only with respect to Mangostick, who has provided lots of great info: one cannot over rev by staying on throttle but the motor can be over reved off throttle and/or mis shifted into the red.

There are commercially available shift lights that will in theory only compromise the warranty coverage on the electric system to which they will connect. In practice?.... I don't know.

Like SD says there are aftermarket stand alone shift lights available.Naturally any electrical work done on the car can lead to warranty claim denials if issues were to arise.

The HID's on the Limited are only for low beams, and they aren't all that great. I preferred the self leveling Xenon's on my MINI.
