Hey everyone! Finally got what I wanted and got a 2011 WRX gray sedan Premium.

So I got the navi and no media hub lol

The stealership wants a lot of money for those subwoofers and media hub... Anyone where I can get a "Media Hub" that wont cost me hundreds of dollars that I can buy elsewhere?

    Next noob question:

What mods make a stage 1 WRX and a stage 2 WRX and stage 3 WRX?

Also, do these mods void the warranty?

    Thank You

    What is a media hub?

    Edit***

Is this what you are talking about? https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...oducts_id=1642

By law your warranty cannot be voided ,but SOA can deny warranty claims if specific problems caused by mods were to arise.

stage 1 is usually just a tune

stage 2 is when you replace the downpipe and then tune.

a new intake can be added to either of those before the tune as well.

No,the SPT cat back does not require a tune.It is just a noise maker. It does not give you any performance gains. To tune your car you would have to either get a protune done by a professional or get a Cobb AP

just tick around here, and read the posts (especially the stickies) and you'll learn.

or, if you want to save money, leave now. once you start seeing what is possible, the mod bug will bite you and then it's all over.

The SPT Catback (at least on the 2011's) is pretty awesome sounding. Puts out a very nice deep sound, but on long drives the drone gets a little annoying in my opinion. Luckily I don't go on too many long drives.

To the OP... WELCOME! Enjoy her!

Cliffnotes: A tune is modifying how the ECM interprets and reacts to signals from the primary sensors -- MAF, IAT, O2, (in some cases EGT), Boost control, Injector pulse width, etc. It is a safe idea to tune the car for most modifications that alter the delivery of air and fuel to the cylinders.
