    There's no right answer to that question. If you're somewhat mechanically inclined, you shouldn't have an issue. It's located in the passenger-side exhaust manifold elbow. Remove the front passenger wheel, remove the plastic liner, and you should see the sensor.

    Given a check engine light "front O2 sensor" I would check the front O2 sensor last. What is the CEL code number?

    Not sure what was the code, my friend pulled a code and told me it is front O2 sensor, i will order one tonight and replace it ASAP. By the way, waht is exact purpose of O2 sensor ? Thanks

    Does the exhaust have cats?

    won't the check engine light be on because there are no cats, also the popping sound from the exhaust is most probably unburnt fuel from running lean because of the BOV and no cats absorbing it, so it burns in the hot exhaust.

    The CEL is for the front O2 sensor, not the rear.
