Help with 02 WRX with STI swap Purchase

Well here it goes im going tomarow to look at a 2002 subaru wrx with about 104000 on the body but has a brand new sti engine in it body looks great but seeing as i haven't owned a awd or a subaru before I figured I'd ask the pros on here what to look at for wear and if the car was beat I read on here that the wrx tranny could be an issue with the higher torque from the sti engine just any advice and it has all clarion speakers and a pioneer touchscreen head unit hes asking $8,500 good buy or no?

ps I went on the forum for a motorcycle I was looking at same deal and they helped me dodge that bullet lol

Its just risky when it comes to purchasing a modified vehicle...even more so a vehicle that had a motor swap in it. I personally wouldn't do it.

I mean really its up to you. If you feel that its a good purchase then go for it. Just remember that sometimes the risk can be greater than the reward.
