So after a few weeks of waiting I got the call from my salesman about my WRX rolling off the truck. Sadly I have to wait till the end of the day to go pick it up
The greast thing is I have a out of town Trip tomorrow that will net me about 450miles on the car, So my 1k break in will hit by next week!

I'm jealous lol. Have fun driving around in that 114 degree weather :P. At least it's SWP so the car shouldn't get as hot as a black car
Eh till I get the windows tinted later this week I'm sure it's gonna be hot either damn way here in KS. Oh 3 /12 hours now!
I was in Wichita this past weekend. I never thought it would be possible to come back to Miami and think "wow it's so much cooler here"
I know right? This past weekend was way too hot with the heat index, your lucky your back in FL near the water!
If you're on the highway then change gears every couple of minutes so that the engine isn't at the same RPM for long periods of time. You don't have to change speed, just RPM. This will help the engine break-in.

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which,all over the world,heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.
Make sure to follow the break in procedure.
On your road trip make sure to very the RPM's. Don't let the RPM's stay in one place the whole trip. Shift in to 4th once and a while. Try to stay under 4000rpm.

Ok so first Impression is OMG I got massive Wood! didn't take it over 4k and took side roads etc so I was changing rpm's quite a bit. My trip tomorrow is about 400miles total, alot of hills and bends on country style roads, so I'll be changing speeds and gears alot which i'm looking forward too. My 1k will be next week. hope these links work.
