    Hi I'm Jess!! I'm from Sydney, Australia & I own a Graphite Black 2003 Subaru WRX sedan (2.0L, 5-Speed) - Just thought I'd introduce myself, Lol..

    So I've come across a little problem as of late..

    I go to turn my car on, It turns over slightly but the engine does not ignite. Battery is brand new & new spark plugs. There is a new fuel filter & pump too.. Anyone else had a problem like this? I thought that it could be the petrol but I only use premium? It's happened 4 - 5 times now.

    It was only serviced last month (It has 90,000km on the clock)

    The mind boggles!!

    Thanks!!

    Yeah I've got the usual sound system getup (Amp, Sub etc) Was all professionally installed too.
    But other than that no.
    Took off my turbo-timer because it kept interfering with my alarm/immobilizer. Would that have anything to do with my 'problem' though?

    I'm just learning how to use this site so I'll upload some photo's asap!!!

    Distrubuter cap injectors not giving u fuel or getting to much idk im just throwing out suggestions. Hope u get it solved good luck and welcome

    Start off with the basics. Go over every cable On the battery and make sure it is clean and tight. Afterthat look at all the grounds. I have seen a lo of bad wiring jobs when audio Eqp is installed. If all that looks good then maybe he starter is bad. You could try hitting it with a broom stick while someone cranks the engine.

    Do you have a chip in your key? If you have another ignition key, try that. I had this exact problem with my wifes cadillac, and it was the key.

    Thanks for all of the reply's everyone!
    It only happens sometimes & Not when the engine is cold either. I do have a chip in my key, I'll try my spare to see if that helps. If not off to the mechanic she goes. I've just checked as much wiring as I could (Engine bay & AMP) & everything seems fine. I think it could be in internal problem.
