    Hard 3rd -> 4th Shift

    New member/owner here. I have a MY11 WRX w/ 3k mi. Recently the shift from 3rd to 4th has been kind of tough sometimes, especially before getting totally warmed up. Does this sound like impending doom, or is it just my getting to know the Subaru gearbox?

    its normal to have some lack of smoothness when the car is not warmed up, especially if you live somewhere cold. as long as everything feels buttery once warmed up you should be fine. if all else fails and you want to make sure, you can always have the dealer look at it.
