    new sti guy

Hey, I'm bill from ny. Just got this sweet 04 STi a month ago so I figure I should introduce myself. I also have a tire question. My car came with these sweet winter blizzax tires. But I gotta find some regular tires so I don't ruin these. I'm gonna use these same time which I assume are the stocks. Any recommendation on cheap, wide tires that are some good? And what size as I see a lot of arguments over tire size.

My plans right now are just to get these tires off and do some body work. The Cobb stuff can wait until my car is 100%.

Thanks. Should I stay with the 225/45 r17 or go 235? Is the 235 the width? I come.from off road trucks and keeps where we use standard sizes.

Your idea of cheap is $200/tire?

225/45/17 is OE size. Use a tire calculator to determine AR of wider/narrower tires.

The Hankook Ventus is an excellent tire and cheaper than many other options out there. I run them on my 911.

Congrats on the new car and welcome!
