    USED to...we have no idea on the torque split of his STI either...for all we know, it could have been similar to how a GTR-34 ran a very heavy split to the rear wheels with the fronts only *helping*

    The planetary gearset in the STi center diff is a much more durable unit to the viscous coupling unit in the WRX. Once that silicone fluid overheats, it's bye-bye center diff! Jus sayin.

    He might still use his STIs in his spare time. I realize that his car was heavily modified. Again, I was jus sayin, its not impossible to awd drift with the right set up.

    If you sustain a f/r bias for longer than a moment (i.e. AWD drifting), your center diff is toast.

    Well I know it's hella hard to drift in an AWD vehicle, I'll probably do Auto cross. Rallying will be pretty sweet too
