That's the best idea in my opinion. And if you want really well priced wheels that are very light and look awesome, I personally will recommend RPF1's

yeah, those are the ones I have In 17x8 and I love them. On your 08 I'd probably get 18x8's just because I feel like 18" wheels look better on the 08+ WRXs. I personally have 245/40/17's. You probably would want 235/40/18's if you did 18" wheels, but just remember that your speedo would be off.

yeah more than likely i would forget that (one more thing to add to a meta-checklist) took my car in today to get the battery checked and they said i left the map light on. then i realized i must look like an idiot for not noticing that, fortunately my battery was in fact bad so i was redeemed. anywho thanks for all the help.

again anyone skimming who knows anything about this stuff look a couple posts back where i discuss possible parts...im going to add ALK's to it tommorrow but am too tired now
    Thanks,
    S.N.

If you plan to race the car (e.g., Auto-X), make sure you check where the ALK will place you in terms of classing.

Since you are getting adjustable sway bars you can always drive around with different settings to see what you like best.

I had the same question about the endlinks, but it seems that the Kartboy endlinks are sturdier than the whitelines.

And no,the STI 6MT will not fit the WRX.

Likelyhood is though i may think about racing, it probably won't happen. I'm just looking to spice up a car I've been driving for 2 1/2 years, if i wanted to go racing i would make a road-trip to my dad's house and start stealing his porsches

I think you out-thought us, I was only asking about short shifters not the entire transmission.

Oh! My bad I thought you meant that the STi tranny won't fit in the 2008+ wrx. :foot in mouth:

No worries, but now you have sent my mind in a very bad direction...how much would it cost to swap out the WRX tranny and is it worth it down the line?

Depends...do you want the STi driveline or PPGs? Depending on the route your taking and what you want out of your car would depend on what you're gonna do.
