    I always wondered; how come this SAAB looks just like a subie? Whats the connection here?

    At this point in time, SAAB was owned by GM, who also had a part-stake in Subaru. GM Wanted something to raise up the SAAB name a bit, and the wrx was the answer.

    So, the 9-2x is a Japanese car given by an American car company to its Swedish car name.

    The 2005 saab 9-2x aero is nearly identical to the the 2005 wrx wagon in every way but the front fascia, hood, and rear bumper. The same is true for the respective 2006 models
