    new here,

Hey ! i bought 2009 impreza 2.5L non turbo comuter car.I bought a set of 2004 sti BBS rims off my friend in silver for it and looks real nice. Now i cant stop! I found a Borla cat back for it but its kind of expencive for a 1-5 hp GAIN.$624 FROM jEGS.Anyone know of any other cat back systems out there(that sound cool and not too loud) for the non turbo?Someone tried to sell me a Magna-flo cat back but Magna-flow says it wont fit cause ts made for the turbo down pipe.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the Impreza 2.5i
Sorry I don't know what catback to get on a non-turbo, but I would love to see some pics of your Subie.

I presume you were looking at a Borla hush? Great exhaust, but not really worth the $ for the naturally aspirated powertrain. Honestly, catback exhausts are mostly for sound and not power gains. If you're not after the sound I'd skip the exhaust altogether. As far as modifications, IMO you should focus on braking and handling enhancements... There's not much you can do to squeeze power out of a NA Subaru.

I dont think its a borla hush.Yea I want some kind of sound but then not too loud should I keep my briefcase resonator on?.someone told me to get a used 08-09 Wrx stock hatchback catback to save money.I'n the meantime I just bought H&R springs to drop the car and soon some shocks, then eventually swaybars. Here's. A link is this gonna sound bad?it's like a peashooter compared to my stock muffler
