    just bought a 2007 wrx, any one know how to disconnect the annoying seatbelt sensor or whatever?... and does the stock shifter knob just screw off or is it attached to something....thanks.

    For the seatbelt chime: sit in the seat and turn the key to the ON position (i.e. don't fire up the engine) fasten and unfasten the seat belt clip 20 times in 30 seconds. Chime will be gone until you disconnect the (-) battery cable.

    Shift knob unscrews and there's lip on the bottom of the knob that a ring in the shift boot attaches to. I find it easiest to hold the shift boot so it doesn't spin while I unscrew the knob, then I just pull it out of the boot.
