    new to the site.. hello all.. looking to buy a WRX.. know a little but want to get educated more and hopefully find a car i can afford!!
    want to buy a WRX.. preferably one with an auto. trans!

    thanks guys!! well i'm leaning toward an auto. WRX (to make things easier on the wifey) so i guess that kinda limits me to the '02-'05 (I think thats the years the auto. trans was offered).. my fav. years of the WRX are the '06-'07 but i'm too poor for one of those
    want to buy a WRX.. preferably one with an auto. trans!

    They have 06 and 07's in limited trim wrx's with the 4eat...

    oh gotcha!!.. so your saying they did offer a the auto behind the turbo 2.5 liter in '06-'07

    Yep... only in the limited trim... From what I remember only 23% of hawkeye wrx's were offered in auto for those 2 years... You might be able to get a better deal on it too with it being an auto due to the lower demand, plus the lower chance of it being beat up by previous owners... the limited's have leather, heated seats, and windshield wiper defrosters too...

    hmm.. well thats good news to me but i still don't think an '06-'07 WRX is in my price range... plus the '02-'03 are kinda "classic" in their own right, but my preference would probably be moore toward an '04- '05 car.. the '02-'03 cars kinda look like a dodge neon to me(not necessarily a bad thing,especially if you wanna try to blend into traffic if wanna try some silly antics)

    this pic is a couple years old but one of my favs. car has a different pair of rear drag wheels now.. this was taken at the buick vs ford meet in noble, ok
