    Hey i have a 2004 WRX, i got used a couple weeks ago. It came with no heat shield for the turbo/downpipe area. Is it required? Thanks...

    Not required, per se, but it definitely reduces underhood temps...

    I have a full OEM STI exhaust system on my 04 WRX. Will it still fit?

    I don't have a heat shield over my 16g, it hasn't caused me a problem yet. As said above, a heat shield will lower the underhood temperatures.
