    New member and WRX owner

    Hello everyone,

Just finally got my 04 WRX with low miles the other day. I am in love, and excited to begin modifications. The previous owner added an upgraded top-mount IC, STI oem full exhaust, and lowered it 1". I just ordered a cobb sf intake. Any suggestions or advice for what i should do next? Thanks.

    -Matt

Welcome And congrats. First thing I would do is make sure it's tuned properly for your mods. Then sways and links, brakes, wheels, things like that, to put that power to use!

Also new Subaru owner, but mine is a 2011 WRX. Anywhere I can find DIY instructions on how and where the STI short shifter rear bushing gets installed? Part came from dealer with no instructions.

Subimods.com has a tutorial on it. Look up the Kartboy bushings and I believe it's there

I don't believe any of these mods require tuning - I believe the STI exhaust has the same downpipe as the WRX (at least it did for the 06/07).
