Welcome! and... sorry for the blown engine

But the good news is you'll be putting in a built engine!

Most Questions will come in the time where the engine is rebuiled.

For first i will buy JE SRP Pistons and Eagle Rods, that one worked fine on my CRX rebuild. Is this a good/cheap Option for Subaru Engines too? I want about 350 hp with VF24/28 and pink Injectors.

is it the piston that just went ? or was there other damage to the engine/heads ?

another alternate option would be to source a 2.5T shortblock and then add on your 2.0T heads the extra .5 litre will def bring up the torque and performance.

you would need to add a walbro or higher flow fuel pump 550cc or larger injectors and a ecu reflash

just throwing it out there into the mix so to speak

This. If I had the longblock torn to pieces I'd spend the extra grand on a 2.5L shortblock.

Hi and welcome sorry to hear your bad news i had a similar problem a month ago on my bugeye only mine threw a bearing on the crank at around 80mph on the road luckly for me it only locked the crank and did no major damage apart from crank and bearings at first i was just going to build the short motor back up as standard but as it is currently running just short of 350bhp and around 320lbft torque i decided to go down the safer route and build it back up as a 2.1 stroker build using a 2.5 niterated crank and cosworth pistons after a few quotes for the parts i found a company in england that actually build these short motors up for not a lot more than the price of the stroker kit the company is called enginetuner here is the link to there web site Alan Jeffery - Engine Tuner high performance engine tuning and engine building
hope you get sorted soon as i know how much im missing mine and its only been a month without it
