well, in honda wolrd lol, rotas were always looks down on as cheap rims. i had a set of slipstreams on my civic for a while. i liked them. i felt they were a bit heavy since i didnt have power steering so i went with an OEM enkei rim that was 11 pounds with out tires. had no problems then. so im not clowning your rota rims. subaru is a diffferent ball game and the culture is different too. so im trying to get out of the honda mind frame that ive had for over 6 yrs. sometimes old habits are hard to break lol.

They are cheap wheels! I just can't justify spending $3000 on a set of 4 wheels just to save 3 pounds per axle vs. $400 on a set of Rotas. If I was given a set of wheels, I would not choose Rotas . Either way, I think I might spend the $800 on a set of used forged Enkeis since my winter stockers will no longer clear my mammoth brakes lol

oh yea..i agree with u man. i mean, id love a set of BBS rims, but i dont want to pay 3 grand just so i can say I HAVE REAL RIMS. im also considering some sport max xxr rims. not sure yet. all depends if i get a income tax return this year. if i dont, ill just paint my oem rims gold. they need a touch up anyways.

i've never experienced a problem with rotas. they are really affordable and have some great looking wheels.

if youre looking for something in the 1000$ range or so, look at OZ's or enkeis.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the xxr wheels... or anything by sportmax for that matter

These are good wheels. I'm considering these for my summers and my Rotas for my winters.

Sport Max has a reputation for fracturing. Then again, so does Rota and I haven't had issues

thats right! rotas are very well known to crack as well. so why are u knocking my choices so far? u are riding on cheap rims right now. im new to scooobies, not to imports. so im well aware with the repuation of rotas. i havent heard persoanlly any problems with sportmaxx rims from the firends i have who own a set. like i mentioned..i just going for looks now. im not auto crossing, drag racing or rally racing my car. so i dont really care right now about wheel weight, whether theyll crack and etc because im not gonna do anything that will cause them to crack, or where ill need a light wheel. if and when im ready to being pushing the limits of my wagon, ill sell the rims i have and get a better quality rim. why u hatin on me?

They are only 1,000. I know it sounds like a ton, but if you look at paying 600 for a set of meh wheels... vs waiting 4 months... saving 100 a month... for some light weight, responsive, sexxy wheels... I know what I'd do... because it's what I did.

hmm very good point. i dont know why i didnt think about doing this. if i get my tax return, ill mess around and get them. ill be able to afford them then. if not, ill save up for them. while im saving up ill proabbly replaint my stock rims. the rpf1 are so sexy. light too right?

oh snap! that sounds very interesting. i just hope they dont get jacked. lots of theives where i live. thats also part of the reason why i wasnt considering sexy rims. ive already had a car stolen once and that was 5 yrs ago and it still hurts. i spent hard earnwed cash i had saved up from my deployment in iraq.
