Wow, looking back and reading this 2 years later, I can't believe what I wanted to do with it..

So, I thought I'd do an update.

18 years old now, be 19 here pretty soon. Took the advice of many and waited to do any mods for a while. Was about a year before I did any performance stuff.

As for cosmetic, I recently bought myself some new wheels and tires. Black drag wheels and Continental all season tires. Didn't do the STI wing, just kept the stock wrx wing. Boost gauge, custom 04 STI hood scoop made to fit 2002-2003 (recently just switched back to stock wrx hood scoop, the other one got to be too flashy.) Headlights, mudflaps, hella horns, tint, and paint touch-ups.

The headlights crapped out on me a few months after using them, which was a waste of a lot of money. The LEDs stopped working and the halos eventually stopped as well. Put stock headlights back on, and am planning on doing a retrofit on them soon.

As for performance, went with the Cobb stage 2 power pack. Included the cobb catback, downpipe, and accessport.

So far, no accidents (knock on wood). Every scratch or dent was from previous owner. Touched up all the scratches.

Plans for future now are getting new brakes to handle more power and fixing any/all cosmetic flaws, including getting a new welldam. Previous owner hit something and made a pretty big crack in the stock one, you can probably see from the first image. (passenger side, under headlight and under fog light)

Nice job, We're about the same age. Reading this sounds a lot like my car experience.
